Getting back to normal

My Niece lives out in California. She recently married and is doing really well. Unfortunately, her husband John was accused of a crime by the company he works for. I won’t go into all the details, but suffice it to say that he faced some serious criminal charges. The whole thing was turning into one big mess, but fortunately, he was able to contract the services of some of the Top Criminal Defense Attorneys in Los Angeles. By working with them, John was able to reduce a lot of the stress associated with the ordeal.

By and by, the case was dismissed and John was found innocent of all the charges. We all knew this would be the case, but we were all glad about the good representation he received. John is working again and his life is returning to normal. I’m really glad that the criminal justice system worked in the end.

On ice

I’ve been reading a lot about the warming of the climate in Antarctica. Slowly but surely, the giant glaciers are breaking up and falling into the sea. Once in the sea, they begin to melt. While estimates vary, this could cause the world water level to rise. The rising sea level could be a catastrophe for shorelines throughout the world.

Many are calling for increased research to be done. The information we have on Antarctica now is sketchy. I don’t think it would hurt anything to have a little more information on the subject. I hope the government will support this effort.
