Pressure washers

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

The house I live in now is three to four years old. Its still in good shape overall, but is showing signs of age. I noticed that the siding was a little dirty and wanted to clean it up a little. Being as that the hose was not doing the job, I decided to get a pressure washer.

I went to the local hardware store and picked one out. After bringing it home, I couldn’t wait to try it out! It’s a lot of fun to operate. I was on the ladder and just spraying away. It blasted away the dirt and grime and left my house clean as a whistle. After the house was done, I started in on everything else. The driveway and the walk. The fence and the woodshed. I really like it a lot!!

Be back soon!

With summer coming soon, the kids will be out of school. That’s always a good time to take our vacation. I will have some time off from work and we were thinking about visiting one of the Myrtle Beach Resorts. We’ve always liked the beach and there is much to do. We like to spend the day in the sun and on the sand and take the occasional dip in the ocean.

We have been planning our trip for awhile. We were lucky to be able to take advantage of a group package at one of the Myrtle Beach Hotels. I know we will all enjoy the many things there are to do. The kids can play and the adults can go golfing at one of the many courses in the area. I know I will be glad to work on my game!

One of the best aspects of a Myrtle Beach Resort is the luxury that is available. A vacation is more than just some time off from work; it is also a time to spoil yourself. The little things can make all the difference. With the beautiful views and conveniences of home, I know we will have a vacation to remember!

Bone Stealing

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

In the news recently was a case about a man who was accused of stealing bones. That’s right, dinosaur bones. Nate Murphy put in a guilty plea after it was discovered that he had illegally removed dinosaur bones from federal land in Montana.

Fortunately for the man, he was able to avoid going to jail. He may however; face a stiff fine. I really think it’s good that the government is doing something to combat this illegal practice. These bones can be worth many thousands of dollars and those funds should go to the taxpayers!

Staying on Top

Due to the slowing economy, business has slowed down a bit. Because of this, our company has decided to make some changes in the way it operates. We have decided to try to become more efficient in the way we manage our time and employees. In order to do this, we have initiated in a new platform that will allow for better organization. We are now taking steps to Managing company with TeamWox CRM. It will allow us to increase productivity.

By taking advantage of this software, our managers will be better able to track the production of all the individuals who work for us. Now, each employee can be assigned “tasks”. We are able to keep track of who is doing what and how good of a job they do with it. We also now have an increased capability to store and manage our documents which we have many of.

Our old e-mail system was not performing as well as we would like. Our new system does a lot better job in the email area. Our ability to generate reports has also increased. These reports allow us to better care for our customers. All in all, things around the office have been running a lot smoother. We are getting more done in less time than before. The savings have helped us stay competitive and keep our service prices low. This has helped to maintain our good relation with valued customers.
