Bits and Pieces…

A new discovery may be at hand. An Egyptian archaeologist has been working a site 30 miles from Egypt called the Top Osiris Magna Temple. Thus far, he has found a number of artifacts that may be connected with the burial of Mark Anthony and Cleopatra. The two were buried together after committing suicide after a failed bid to wrest power from Caesar Augustus for control of the Roman Empire.

Further excavations are needed to provide conclusive proof of the discovery. I will be keeping an eye out to see what the possible results are. It would be nice to have some conclusive evidence of such a historical story!

Custom Designs

Our company is growing fast. We are opening new offices all the time. In an effort to become nation wide, we are focusing on new territories and expansion. We have been researching the things that our customers want. One of the things they mentioned was that our logo was outdated and drab. We knew we would have take measures to fix this problem. We started doing some research into ways to address the issue.

In keeping with the trend of expansion, we have begun to attend a number of trade shows. Getting our name to be nationally known is important to us. One way we do this is by having a great trade show exhibit. We wanted people to come to us instead of having to go to them. By creating an eye catching display, we felt we could achieve this goal. We used a company that specializes in trade show exhibits. It really paid off for us. At our last show, we got rave reviews for our display.

We should have realized the importance of our booth exhibit before. The people who were just walking by stopped to check out the beautiful custom woodwork. The design as a whole was just what we were looking for. We owe our new public image to a company that can be found at http://www.gilbertdisplays.com/ I am looking forward to our next trade show. We will definitely be doing many more in the future and working to make our company a national name.

A Rolling stone gathers no moss…

I do have to wonder where this saying came from. On the surface it makes sense. You would expect that the things we use the most would not be so dusty. I have found this not to be true. For example, my computer is a mess! I use my computer every day. Still, it is the dustiest thing in my house.

The screen gathers dust like a magnet. I clean it often, but it still gets dirty very quickly. The keyboard is the worst! I find all manner of yucky things in it and on it. The keyboard is not exactly easy to clean either! I don’t know what I’m going to do about the situation, but I sure hope they come up with something that will help!

Snug as a Bug!

Recently, my cousin Judy came to stay with us for a couple of days. She wanted to show off her newly born daughter Rose. She is so cute and my whole family adores her. We decided that we wanted to do some shopping and pick up a few things for the baby. As usual, I went online to see what I could find. After looking around a bit, I found what I was looking for.

Every girl always wants clothes, even little baby girls. I found a store that sells designer baby clothes. I found a cute little dress that I know she will love. Sometimes I tend to go a little overboard and such was the case again. I also wanted to be sure that the baby had some soft toys to play with, so I got her a few from jellycat. I got a cute little mouse for her. I should have stopped then, but I was on a roll.

Since it can be a little chilly at this time of year, I wanted to make sure the baby would be safe and warm. I found a beautiful soft blanket from barefoot dreams that will keep her snug. After all was said and done, I was satisfied that the newest addition to our family would have a nice stay at our house!

Opening old Wounds

While there are many great things in our world, there are some terrible things as well. One of these things was the Holocaust of Jewish persons in Nazi Germany. Many of the inmates at the work camps were tattooed with serial numbers on their arms. After many years and hardships, some of these people were reunited.

In Israel, there are four men who share a common bond. They bear consecutive serial numbers on their arms. Reunited, they share their memories with each other and the world. I hope our world has grown. I want to be able to tell my children that we must always be ready to defend against people who will exploit race, color, and creed to further their own efforts. I hope my kids will remember!
