Saving on Ink

Friday, April 24th, 2009

One of my biggest pet peeves is my printer. I must admit that it does great, but it drives me crazy as it runs out of ink all the time. I don’t know how many times I have gone to print something and received the message out of ink! The worst part is when I go to the store. When I want to replace my cartridges, it always seems to cost me a fortune. I don’t how they get away with charging such high prices!

I did some research and was fortunate to find a great website. It is called inkgrabber.com and is just the answer I was looking for. I am now able to take advantage of the low prices of brother ink cartridges. The savings are incredible. Now when I go to buy ink, I don’t have to worry about paying too much. I know that I will be getting the lowest prices available. I am also happy to report that they back up their product by providing a replacement if you are not satisfied with your products performance.

I’m glad I found this site. I have advised my friends that they can enjoy great prices for just about any printer model available. They carry all the major manufactures brands of replacement cartridges. I am glad to know that the next time I run out of ink, I’ll be replacing the cartridge for a very low price!

Printers

It’s just another average day around the house. I am doing my bills and want to print out a copy for my records. “Printing Started!” Out of ink! How can this happen? I just replaced the ink cartridge not to long ago. These ink cartridges are the biggest scam since Watergate!

I go to the store for new ones. There are about 50 different kinds. They all cost about $20 to $30 dollars! And they never have the one I need. I spend a lot of money just for ink each year. I’ll be glad if the government makes these rip-off companies actually put ink in the cartridges they sell. I do have one idea; we could pass a bill saying all the ink must be manufactured in the USA, which would at least provide about a million jobs!!

Help from Afar!

I happen to work in the main office of our company, but we do have a number of satellite offices as well. One of the problems we encountered was that these satellite offices did not always set up their computers correctly. There were times when we had to call a technician to go out and fix the problem. That was costly and resulted in a lot of down time. We were looking for a way to eliminate that problem.

One of our techs suggested that we employ a service that will provide for remote control software. We took his advice and purchased a program from proxynet.com. This software allows us to control another computer no matter where it was. It’s a great technique that gives us the ability to remote into a computer and attempt to fix the problem. Many times, our offices will download software that is not compatible with ours. We now can remote in and uninstall the offending program and the problem will be solved.

One of the best aspects of this particular product is that it is very secure. We sometimes have sensitive material that we do not want to get out. With their 256-bit encryption that happens to be the highest in its class, we are confident that security will be maintained. Since we have started to use this service, we have saved a lot of time and money. Our satellites are happy they do not have to deal with complicated computer problems. Our staff can now take good care of them!

The Bible Code

Friday, April 24th, 2009

I was watching an interesting show last night about the bible codes. Proponents of it claim the Old Testament contains predictions of future events. Using a computer, the text is searched by skipping a certain amount of letters looking for keywords. Once found, the words are strung together and tell of certain events.

Scholars claim that some of the events included are; the gulf war, the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Rabin, the death of John f. Kennedy. There is also a prediction that the earth will be destroyed by an asteroid in 2012. I don’t know what to think of the situation, but it was something to think about.

My friend Bob

A friend of mine named Bob asked me for advice on how to apply for a credit card. Unbelievable as it may sound, he has never had one. He is the old fashioned kind of guy who always paid cash for everything. He finally realized that in order to survive in the modern world, he would have to get one. He really is behind the times when it comes to credit card terms and services. I told him I would be glad to help him out.

The first thing I did was to steer him to a good website. Bob is very smart and I know he will pick things up fast. I sent him to cardhub.com where he can receive the Credit Card Help that he needs. They have a lot of useful information to help you understand the terms and learn about credit cards in general. Then he will be ready to choose a card.

The main reason I sent him to this site was that he will be able to choose the right card for him. They review every credit card company and help you understand the fine print. Once he has all the information, I am sure he will make a great pick! I was happy to learn that Bob now has a card and has joined the modern world!
