Back in Business!
Beside my cell phone, my truck is the life blood of my business. Every weekend I do side work like pressure washing or other odd jobs in the construction field. When my truck broke down, I was out of business and losing a lot of money. I needed to fix my truck and I didn’t want to spend a fortune in doing so.
I went to the dealer where I bought my truck. They looked at it and charged me over $100 dollars to tell me the transmission needed replacing. I already knew that!!! They wanted to sell me a new one. The price was outrageous. I knew I had to find another way. I did some research online and found a website called gottransmissions.com. They had a whole range of Ford transmissions. I called them and they had the transmission I needed. The best part was that the price was almost half of what the dealer wanted to charge.
Now my truck is running again. I am back to making money and things are going smooth. Since I got a pretty good warranty on my transmission, I won’t have to worry about that for awhile. I am glad I took the time to find out more about the situation and found a new place to get parts!
