The highest mountain

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

Everybody knows that the highest mountain in the world is Mount Everest. Located in the Mahalangur Himalaya mountain range, at 29,028 feet above sea level, it dominates all others. What else can you say?

It seems I read a book once about the subject. It was fun to think of myself up there on the mountain, struggling upwards step by step. Freezing in the cold wind, but going on to the summit. I often wonder if I could have got to the top. I guess I’ll never know, but it’s fun to think I could have!

A New Start!!

Since the winter weather has broken, I have been thinking about starting to fix up my yard. I have been working on the lawn and garden, but now it’s time to work on the patio. I cleaned out the grill and it’s now ready for use. The next thing to do is to get the Patio Furniture
into shape. The furniture I had is getting old and is in need of repair.

Since we spend a lot of time outdoors each year, I thought it would be good to have some nice Outdoor Furniture to enjoy the summer weather on. My wife likes to tan as well as my daughter. They don’t want to lie on the dirty old lawn chairs we had. I thought I would comply with their wishes and get some new furniture.

This year I thought I would try something new. I’ve always like fire and wanted a place to have one outside. I was planning on getting a Fire Pit, that way we could all enjoy having a fire to gather around. I think this year will be a good year to enjoy our backyard more than ever. It’s a great place for the family to enjoy and we will all be able to forget about our worries and enjoy the good weather.

A Little known fact

When we were kids, it was always fun to inhale some Helium and make our voices sound funny. We had a great time doing this and it was always a big thrill. I was wondering what the science behind it was. It turns out that our voices are dependent on a number of factors. The chief one for our listeners is that the air that fills our lungs has a speed.

Because Helium is lighter than air, our voices actually increase in speed. This causes the listener to think we sound funny. The bad part is that inhaling Helium can be quite dangerous. If you inhale too much Helium, you may run short of Oxygen and get lightheaded. While this may seem to be a fun pastime, you need to be very cautious about the unwanted results of your actions!

Reputation and Safety

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

In today’s society, there is a lot of emphasis on how you look. Studies have shown that good looking people are more likely to get jobs and advance their careers. Since how much you weigh has a great impact on how you are perceived, it is imperative to lose those extra few pounds. This has been a source of concern for my cousin Debbie since she has struggled with her weight throughout her life.

In an effort to minimize these concerns, I have recommended to Debbie that she consider using weight loos pills. She received my recommendation with grace, but stated that she had some concerns. She had tried some pills in the past but was not happy with the results. I told her about a website that could help people in her position. It is called consumerpricewatch.net. This site has hundreds of diet pill reviews and ranks them according to different categories.

First and foremost, Debbie was concerned about the safety of what she used. She also was worried about the reputation of the company who manufactured the product. I pointed out that this service takes all these factors into consideration and then uses that information to find the best ones. They also search the internet for the cheapest places to obtain these products. That can save Debbie a lot of time researching which pill is right for her.

I am confident that Debbie will find something to help her lose weight. She is a good girl and very bright. It would be a shame if she lost out on an opportunity because of how she looks. I know that she will take advantage of this service and finally be able to concentrate on beginning her career!
