My desk

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

I’m so lazy!! I just cleaned my desk at home the other day. You wouldn’t know it looking at it today! I have files and folders for everything, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I really need to do a better job of keeping it clean!

Even when I get it cleaned up, there is a layer of dust underneath all the paperwork. I think I’ve found a solution though; it’s called a trash can!

Rolling Along!

Since our company has become nationwide, we are able to take advantage of good ideas from other branches than ours. One of the best ideas lately came from our partners in California. They were able to increase their advertising by taking advantage of car wraps Orange County. They used a company called STG Signs & Graphics that specializes in making your vehicle a rolling advertisement.

Since people spend so much time in their cars, it makes sense to put a high quality graphic that represents your company on it. After reviewing some of the work they have done, I was impressed with the eye catching displays they have created. It seems to me to be a great way to spread the word about our company.

Our partners in Southern California started with just one car. After seeing the benefits of this action, they soon decided to have the entire fleet done. Now that all the cars and vans have been completed, the entire operation looks so much more professional. The public is constantly reminded of our companies name and business is growing. They have been raving about the success they have had in generating new customers. Once again, we have seen the results of innovative thinking making us a better company!

Prodigy

Every once in a while, a child is born who may hold the future good of mankind in their hands. In England, there may be such a one. A little girl named Elise Roberts who is two years old has an amazingly high IQ of 156. Albert Einstein had one of 160. The little girl can name over thirty-five world capitals and can count in Spanish.

She was also inducted into the world famous Mensa Society. Elise has caused a sensation with her abilities. I certainly hope that she will be able to continue and grow into a wonderful person. The world needs people who are smart enough to come up with new ideas and to challenge the way we think now. I wish her good luck and Godspeed!
