Cash for Cars

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

A new measure taken by the Obama administration is the cash for clunkers program. This measure recently passed the congress and will be sent to the White House for approval. I am absolutely in favor of this bill and think it’s a long time in coming. Reducing our dependency on foreign oil will help our economy in the long run and this bill will also help to create jobs. The only problem I have with this bill is that I do not own a car that will qualify.

This proposal will allow people who own older model cars to trade them in for cars with better gas mileage. Many dealers are in favor of the bill as they feel it will help them sell new cars. There is a downside to the bill. This bill will increase the national debt as it is estimated to cost millions of dollars. I think it will be worth it in the end and so I give it my support!

Help is on the way

I was shocked to discover that my Nephew was in trouble. Tom lives in California and has always been a good boy. Unfortunately, he ran into some trouble while hanging out with some friends. The bad part is that he is the one they are trying to prosecute because he was the oldest one there. I am sure that Tom is not guilty so I looked into getting him some help with his case.

I’ve done a lot of research on the subject and I think I have found the answer to the problem. I was able to secure the services of a top Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorney. I feel so much better knowing that Tom will receive the legal advice and representation he deserves. I am eager to find out the results of the case and I am positive that his lawyers will defend hid interests fully. I’ll let you know how things go as soon as I hear the good news!

Red Water?

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

Due to images taken on the NASA Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, Scientists have made the claim that evidence of lake shorelines can be found on the planet Mars. The signs of shorelines and delta deposits are considered to be proof that water was once abundant. This gives rise to the question of whether or not life ever existed on Mars. Researches say that life is possible when water is present.

Is life possible? This question has been asked by thousands of humans throughout history. The possibility that life exists elsewhere in the galaxy is genuinely debated by scientist throughout the world. As of yet, there is no solid evidence of any life anywhere.

Talking it up!

Our office does many things to promote our business. We have advertisements and logos; we also support local sports teams and word of mouth. Another way we promote our business is to hold conferences with key customers. Many times we will rent a conference room at a nice hotel and invite customers to come and listen to our presentation. Often we will invite Corporate Speakers to give advice to our personnel and motivate our guests. This has been very beneficial to our growth.

One of the downsides to this method is that you must be sure to have someone worth going to see. No one wants to sit through a three hour presentation when the speaker is dry and overly technical. That’s why we try to employ Celebrity Speakers whenever possible. They have the drawing power to pull in the crowds. This is a great tactic to motivate people to come to our events.

Our office is full of talented personnel who have excellent speaking capacities. We are working on a system whereas we can utilize their talents. We plan to give these people a chance to speak at certain events. We let them practice their speeches and give them the option to utilize Speaking Tips which help them become better speakers. All in all, this entire plan has led to many additional customers and made our company a household name. I think we will continue our efforts in this area and see where it leads.

Donuts

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

I was reading an article today about how the donut chain Krispy Kreme may go under. I was hoping that would not be the case. I have many memories of going to their stores and watching the donuts being made. They have some excellent food there and it would be a shame if they were no longer around. I guess I am sentimental that way.

It seems the economy is putting many restaurants and stores in deep financial trouble. I hope that most of these places will be able to make it through until times are better. I think I will do my part to help keep Krispy Kreme alive and order some donuts today!
