I have been so busy lately that I got behind on my usual monthly haircut. As I was out and about the other day and noticed the hair salon was empty, I decided to drop in and get a cut while there was no line. That part worked out fine and I was able to get in the chair right away! The bad part was the cut itself!

There are many times when I need to get stuff done at the office, but may not have time to do it all. Since I am a responsible employee, I feel obligated to work at home at times. I just wanted to let everyone know that my friend Jake is getting out of the hospital today. He had a serious bout with his epilepsy, but is doing better now. Jake has had this illness for most of his life and has done well to learn how to cope with it, but sometimes it gets the best of him. I know that he has had a lot of support from his family and all the people he knows as well. I’ll be glad to see him back in the office!

One thing I am planning to do is to take a trip. I’ve always wanted to go visit the city of Taiwan. I think that I’ll be able to actually take the trip now as I have finally found a way to make it work financially. I was looking online and found a way to save 60% by booking online from between June 23 through the 29, if I schedule the trip for in between July 10 through September 30. This seems to fit my own schedule so I am going to take advantage of it.

When I go, I’ll be staying at one of the Accor Hotels you hear so much about. They are great hotels and I’ve heard a lot about them from people at work who have stayed there before. There is one right at the airport that has a swimming pool and everything. It will be so convenient not to have to worry about where I will be staying. I am excited about going to visit this ancient city and all its treasures.

I plan to take a lot of pictures while I’m there and will share them with everyone when I get back. I know it will be a great time for me as I have always been interested in their culture and of course the food as well. I know some may be jealous of me for going, but I would suggest that you get online and book a room for yourself!
