Showing some Style
Our neighborhood looks pretty much the same as you drive through it. There are only four or five different styles of houses and color schemes. Things can be very monotonous as you pass down the street. There are a few things that are up to each individual household that can set them apart from everyone else. One of these things is mailboxes. By selecting a unique one, people can show their style.
We were tired of the standard mailbox that was installed when we bought our house. We thought that by purchasing a different one, we could set ourselves apart from everyone else on the block. We looked into the situation and I found a website called mailboxixchange.com that had thousands of mail boxes to choose from. We all had our own favorites, but finally decided on one that we all liked.
Now that we have a brand new mailbox, we are happy with our selection. Whenever I give directions to someone who hasn’t visited us before, I describe our box as it is easily recognizable. I have received several comments from neighbors who asked where they can get a box as well. I am always ready with the answer to that!
