Some first date tips

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

I was reading an interesting article about first date do’s and don’ts. It shared a few tips that I thought I’d pass along. I have several friends who may need to read this and I hope they take it to heart. One big item when meeting someone for the first time is to not talk about your prior relationships. This can be a definite turn off. Another thing to avoid is the group invite. A first date should be dedicated to your partner.

Also make sure that you dress appropriately and proper grooming is a must. Take a little extra time to present yourself in the best light possible. Try to make your first date interesting. Go somewhere where you can have fun and interact such as a carnival or museum. I hope these tips will help those of you who need to find a partner in life.

The best shows

One thing our family loves is music. We like all kinds of it and we also believe that seeing a live show is the best way to experience it. When you see a show live, you get the benefit of knowing how the artist feels about the songs. That’s why it is so important that we are able to secure tickets for our favorite shows. When we visited Pennsylvania recently, we were able to purchase Electric Factory Tickets. That was pleasing to the whole family.

My daughter is a big music fan. When she heard that her favorite band was coming to town, we knew we had to pick up some Jersey Boys Tickets. I was glad to be able to help her as she has been getting good grades at school and I felt like she deserved a reward. She will be taking some friends to see the show and I know they will enjoy it.

My son has a crush on one of the biggest stars out there. He won’t admit it, but I know he does. I decided that since I had bought my daughter tickets, I would buy him some Britney Spears Tickets as well. I think the near future will hold a lot of interest in concert going. That’s ok with me as I believe that music is a fun safe way to express yourself. I’m thinking about attending a few concerts myself!
