Good times for all

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

Whenever there is a question about where we want to spend our vacation, we always end up with the same answer. Our family loves to drive to one of the Myrtle Beach Resorts for a summer treat. This is one of the best beaches to visit as there is so much to do for each family member. It’s also a great feeling to know that we will receive first-class treatment when we arrive.

For many years in a row we have been able to take advantage of the beach and its activities. There is so much to do and we never tire of trying to do it all. The kids love the sand and surf and the adults love the shopping and golf courses. It’s so nice to be spoiled and we always seem to be when we are at a Myrtle Beach Resort. The best part is that the price is affordable for all the advantages it provides.

Whenever you leave your home state, you expect to find fun and new adventures. We have been able to achieve this goal by spending time in one of the many Myrtle Beach Hotels there are. We have never been disappointed with the service we received or the choices of things to do. I’ll be glad when we get home so I can start to plan the trip there next year!

Tap or bottled

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

There has been some debate lately over the tap water versus bottled water issue. Many experts in the field want to make some changes in the way bottled water is labeled and want to make them add more information. Many experts claim that consumers believe bottled water is safer than tap, but this may not be the case. There is little regulation of bottled water. We will have to see the outcome of this issue.

Sometimes, more is less

I was at work today and I happened to engage in a conversation with Ruth who works in the other wing of the building. I had noticed that she seemed to be looking better lately and I didn’t really know why. As it happened, she informed me that she had lost 15 pounds over the last several weeks and that she planned to keep the weight off. I was surprised when I found out how she did it!

Cookie diet! She told me that she had been on this diet and that she owed her weight loss to it! I really could hardly believe what she was saying, but I had to admit that the results were right there in front of me. She told me of the Cookie Weight Loss plan she had found and that it had played a central part in her newly found physique. I must admit that I was blown away!

Anyway, to make a long story short, she was very happy. I was glad to see that she was indeed a really good-looking woman and was glad for her. She’s a great lady and I know that her appearance had held her back in some situations. I was glad that she finally felt comfortable with going out and being the great person that she was!

Banners?

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

I heard that some members of the environmental group called Greenpeace scaled Mount Rushmore and hung a banner reading “America honors leaders not politicians: Stop global warming” next to Abe Lincoln. While I am all for stopping global warming, I am not sure that this is the way to do it.

I feel that these displays make the cause look extremist when in fact it is a serious issue. I hope that these people will try to find ways to better use their energy.
