Giant Worms

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

There is some debate over the giant worms reported to live deep in the soil of Idaho. In the 1890’s, there were reports of 3 foot long worms found living in the plains. The worm has proven to be much more elusive these days with only one known specimen. Scientists are planning an all out search for the worm this summer in order to confirm its existence and to study the worm. So far, efforts to find the worm have failed. I’ll keep an eye out for the story and update when proper.

See your way clear

I wanted to relay a little story about my recent trip to the land down under. I went to Australia on some business for work and spent a week in that wonderful country. I had a great time every night I was there. I was discussing some of the local shops with one of the locals who was assigned to guide me around and was informed about a great way to receive the replacement eyeglasses that I needed.

When I went online, I could not believe that I had found such a great site. It’s called ausspecs.com.au and it has everything you would want in eyeglass styles. I spent awhile figuring out which of the spectacles I wanted and ordered them right away. I was satisfied that I was getting a good deal and was assured that this was a reputable company. I’m beginning to believe that the only way to purchase something is to do it online.

Now that I have received the eye glasses I ordered, I am very satisfied with the results. I now have some of the trendiest glasses and also have a great story to tell about where I got them. I’ll be glad if I ever get the chance to return and I am sure that I’ll revisit the site when I do!

Cheap fun

Since we Americans spend so much time playing video games, it has become more important than ever to do it cheaply. An announcement by comscore, an industry tracker, said that Americans are turning to online video games as a way to reduce their gaming costs. This has been blamed on the faltering economy and seems to be the trend for the near future.

The free game sites such as ones found on Yahoo games are receiving more traffic than ever. Other sites have seen increases as well. I guess the economy will dictate the future of this industry and we will see where it goes.

Use Business VoIP to reduce your phone bills

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

Since the people at our office are of the progressive type, we are constantly coming up with new ways to save money and provide better services. One area where we were over budget was our phone bills. Using the traditional service we had, we were running up quite a bill. We decided to try something different to see if could rectify the situation. We did some research and found a better way to communicate.

We found the solution in an unlikely way. One of our employees mentioned that where he used to work used a different system. Since the cost of starting up the service was low, we decided to give it a shot. We contacted a company and set up our Business Voip in just a few minutes. We were amazed at how easy it was. We were also happy to find that all the features that you would expect were available.

Now that our new system is installed, we are satisfied that it’s a better way to go. Our overall phone bill is lower and we are also able to customize the product to fit our needs. I am happy to report that we also seem to be a lot more professional when it comes to the services we provide. I’m glad that we are now up with the times and growing!
