Friday, July 31st, 2009Since a large part of our current economic woes are being blamed on the big banks, congress is taking action to remedy the situation. On Friday, the house voted to change the way on how executives are paid from companies that took federal bailout money. The bill will affect thousands of workers.
With more oversight, the big banks will have to tighten their ships and start playing the Washington game. The bill attempts to link decision makers with the decisions they make. It is hoped that this will bring additional oversight to a troubled industry. We will see how it goes!
