One last time

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

Since the winter is getting ready to set in, I thought that I would take my family out for one last camping trip before it gets too cold. I asked the kids about it and they were all for going to a pa rv camping facility. We have enjoyed these trips before and they have become one of our favorites. There are many things to do and everyone always seems to have a great time.

The best part about going to one of the pennsylvania RV Parks is that you always seem to meet someone new and interesting. You never know who you will be camping with and it’s always a neat surprise. We have met many families just like ours who enjoy the outdoors and take advantage of the hiking and other camping activities.

The best part about gettysburg camping is the history that surrounds you. No matter where you go, there is always something new and interesting to learn from. We like the feeling of getting away from the daily grind of life and spending time together as a family. I think it sure would be neat if we met you while enjoying ourselves there. I hope to see you soon!

California is leading the way

It seems that when Americans talk about taking real steps to find alternate sources of energy, California is leading the way. The state’s legislature has passed an aggressive bill that would require one third of the state’s energy to be from renewable sources such as Wind and solar power. The problem is that Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger may not sign the bill.

Under pressure from private interest groups such as the energy producers, he feels great pressure to not sign the bill. I hope he will set an example for the rest of the country and do so anyway. Either way, I am proud of the state’s legislature for sending him a powerful message.
