One thing that I really enjoy is the fact that we have a large family. No matter what time of year it is, there is always something going on. Right now, the big news is that my cousin Judy is getting married. We were all a little surprised because no one saw it coming. She met a guy named Joe and they really hit it off.

When she told me the news, I was really happy for her. I offered to help her in any way I could. When she asked my advice about where to get the best wedding invitations, I knew I had a good answer for her. I talked with her the other day and she thanked me for my help. She was very happy to find the style of invitation she was looking for and couldn’t wait to send them out. One thing that can be irritating is the Saturday call-in. Every once in a while someone from the office calls and asks me to come in on Saturday in order to take care of some problem that has arisen. Normally, I don’t mind helping out, but sometimes it can be quite a nuisance.

No sooner as I had my coffee ready and began to relax, I got a call. I had planned to work in the garden and take care of some other chores that needed doing. I guess all my plans will be delayed until later. Well, I got to go…

It’s been a long hot summer and my family is happy that it’s almost over. We are all ready for the cooler weather to take over. But after thinking about it, we all decided that we wanted to take one last vacation before that happens. You know; a one last blast kind of thing. Since we had all enjoyed our last trip to a Myrtle Beach Resort, we thought we would return there for our trip.

As I was searching online to find out what options we had, I found that there were many Myrtle Beach Resorts to choose from. One of the newest ones was called the Avista Resort that looked like the best. The building was really interesting and the grounds around it were nice as well. I also knew that there would be plenty of things for everyone to do when we got there.

We have visited the area before and have always counted on the fact that we would receive great service during our trip. No matter which of the Myrtle Beach Hotels you visit, you can’t go wrong. Everyone is excited about the trip and I am sure that we will have plenty of pictures to share when we get back. The only thing left to do after that will be to start planning our winter trip!

I would like to congratulate one of the latest winners of the Nobel Peace Prize. It’s none other than our own president Barack Obama. The only problem we have is that we don’t really know why he won it. The Nobel committee explained that they hoped to encourage the peaceful intentions that they felt Obama expressed. They felt that Obama’s election was a turning point away from the former Bush administration’s policies. Whatever the reason, I think he deserves the credit due for his endeavors to promote world peace.
