It’s been a long hot summer and my family is happy that it’s almost over. We are all ready for the cooler weather to take over. But after thinking about it, we all decided that we wanted to take one last vacation before that happens. You know; a one last blast kind of thing. Since we had all enjoyed our last trip to a Myrtle Beach Resort, we thought we would return there for our trip.

I also knew that there would be plenty of things for everyone to do when we got there.

I would like to congratulate one of the latest winners of the Nobel Peace Prize. It’s none other than our own president Barack Obama. The only problem we have is that we don’t really know why he won it. The Nobel committee explained that they hoped to encourage the peaceful intentions that they felt Obama expressed. They felt that Obama’s election was a turning point away from the former Bush administration’s policies. Whatever the reason, I think he deserves the credit due for his endeavors to promote world peace.

It has been a busy summer and we have done many things to improve the appearance of our home. We have painted as well as remodeled much of the interior.
