Super Bowl 44
Monday, February 8th, 2010Great news for the “Who Dat” nation. The New Orleans Saints have won their first Super Bowl victory by defeating the Indianapolis Colts 31-17. After getting off to a slow start, the Saints rallied to win the game convincingly. Heroes of the game include their quarterback Drew Brees and their field goal kicker Garrett Hartley who kicked a record setting three 40+ yard field goals.
There is little need to describe the party after the game on Bourbon Street. Folks throughout Louisiana celebrated well into the night. There will be a parade on Tuesday and expect the party to be massive. I say congratulations to the Saints on their victory.
