Here and Gone

Since the giant oil company BP finally capped the leaking well, many experts are saying that the oil is disappearing from the gulf. The problem is that many local people who are at the scene are saying that this is just not true. A look from the air says too many that the oil is still there and coming ashore with every wave.

Bp has wanted to scale back its cleanup operations, they say the oil is gone and will no longer be a problem. Scientists say that the oil is still there but were dispersed by the millions of gallons of dispersement put into the water by BP. I personally believe that there is still plenty of oil to be cleaned up and I hope BP will do so.

Uniformity

I happened to visit a hospital the other day. A friend of mine had to go in for a checkup and I offered to give her a ride. As you may imagine, I had to wait awhile for the checkup to be done and I happened into a conversation with one of the nurses. I had noticed that she had on nursing uniform scrubs that looked really nice. She also had on a scrub hat that was very colorful.

She told me about how every doctor and nurse had to purchase their own uniforms. She said that most of them use a site called blueskyscrubs.com that sold them. They had a wide variety of medical scrubs for both men and women. They were a quality product and everyone liked them. She also liked the fact that buying scrubs online was quick and easy. The prices were reasonable and the uniforms were delivered to her home.

Our conversation finally ended and I sat alone. While I did, I pondered the different uniforms and hats everyone was wearing. I saw how wearing uniforms made it easier to identify who was who. The colorful garb also made the hospital seem just a little bit friendlier. I guess it’s a good that uniforms are required for people like this.
