I am a little bit obsessed with American Idol. I have watched every season and I love everything about it. I cannot carry a tune, so I am so impressed by people who do. Last season I was watching the final results show where all of the contestant from the whole season come back and sing. They usually drag the show out to last two hours and then at the very end they reveal who the new American Idol is. Unfortunately, it had been storming and during the last few minutes of the show, my cable went out. I was so frustrated. I could not believe that I watched almost two hours and then I missed what happened at the end. I did not want to find out the next day on the news or from anyone at school. I decided to go online and search for the results. The results had come up within a few minutes after the show ended. I am so glad that I did not have to be out of the loop and I was able to find out who the winner was. I am also glad that I went to satellitestarinternet.com to set up our internet, so I can use it for things like this.

As I was reading the news today I ran across an interesting story. It was all about a marching band that is the largest in the country. The band hails from a Texas school called Allen High School. It fields 527 musicians, plus a drill team with 72 members and a color guard of 39. It is now the largest regularly performing marching band in the U.S.

It’s really good news to hear that so many kids are interested in music. I wish I could hear the band play sometime as I imagine the noise must raise the dead. I would also like to see the 18 buses they use for road trips lined up. That must be a heck of a sight! I say good luck Allen High and Godspeed!

One thing our family loves is music. We like all kinds of it and we also believe that seeing a live show is the best way to experience it. When you see a show live, you get the benefit of knowing how the artist feels about the songs. That’s why it is so important that we are able to secure tickets for our favorite shows. When we visited Pennsylvania recently, we were able to purchase Electric Factory Tickets. That was pleasing to the whole family.

My daughter is a big music fan. When she heard that her favorite band was coming to town, we knew we had to pick up some Jersey Boys Tickets. I was glad to be able to help her as she has been getting good grades at school and I felt like she deserved a reward. She will be taking some friends to see the show and I know they will enjoy it.

My son has a crush on one of the biggest stars out there. He won’t admit it, but I know he does. I decided that since I had bought my daughter tickets, I would buy him some Britney Spears Tickets as well. I think the near future will hold a lot of interest in concert going. That’s ok with me as I believe that music is a fun safe way to express yourself. I’m thinking about attending a few concerts myself!

V. show Britain’s Got Talent. Although Susan may not look like a star, her amazing singing talent has shown through and she has created a large fan base.

Susan has dealt with her new found fame in a humble and graceful manner. She has made numerous T.V. appearances and is a favorite of the media. Her singing is really an incredible thing to see and enjoy. She truly has a special talent!

One thing we have always enjoyed is music. Everyone knows that to get the best music, you have to see the artists perform live. Seeing the show is the key to getting the full effect of the message each musician is trying to convey. Since our area has a very small concert hall, many of the biggest acts do not come to our town. That’s why it may be necessary to do a little traveling to see the shows we like.

One example was our trip to California. Since we knew we would be in the area at a specific date, we were able to order Pacific Amphitheater Tickets online ahead of time. That worked out great and we had a good time. When I had to make a trip to Wisconsin for some office business, I basically did the same thing and was able to secure Alpine Valley Music Theater Tickets. That was a great trip as well.

The next big trip on our list is the state of Washington. While I am there, I want to check out the Washington Huskies Men’s Basketball team and I’ll do that by purchasing Bank of America Pavilion Tickets. After all is said and done, I now know the little tricks that make my life more enjoyable. The ability to have access to the best shows and sports events has enabled me to get the most out of life. I’ll see you at the show!!

It’s funny when someone has a dance song as their ringer. In the middle of the day, you may hear someone’s phone going “shake that thing!” always at a seemingly inappropriate time. To each his own I guess!

I have listened to music all my life. There are many great songs by many great artists. One of the ones I wanted to speak about was a song called “Cortez the Killer” by Neil Young. From his 1975 album entitled “Zuma”, this is one of the songs that is legendary in my mind.

The song describes the actions of Hernan Cortes and his conquest of the Aztec Indians. The destruction caused by one civilized people over another civilized people. This song has the capacity to haunt the listener with a strange feeling of compassion for things lost.
I highly recommend giving this song a listen and see what feelings it brings to you.

A friend of mine was telling me about a website that plays music. It’s called Pandora internet radio. It’s a pretty cool thing to have. You put the name of a band or a song in, and it will play many songs of the same type from other bands. It’s a good way to discover new music. You may hear a song from a relatively unknown band and decide you like them.

They have a little section called “About the music”. It tells you a little about the band that is playing. You also have the option to buy the album right from their website. I thanked my friend for turning me on to this site. I have really enjoyed it so far!

One of my many nieces was playing in her school’s Winter Band Concert this late afternoon, so I skipped work to go see her play. It is her first year in middle school and her first year in Band. She is enjoying learning the flute and did a marvelous job today. We managed to gather up nine immediate family members to attend, in order to show our support to this lovely young lady that has had a lot on her plate these past few years and is blossoming quite nicely.

She has some serious allergy issues and other medical problems that has made attending school and real challenge. She does manage to pull in all A’s & B’s even though she misses at least one day a week and many times even more, her teachers are asking what she would be able to do if she had less of an attendance issue.

She is pretty, tall, slim, very shy, well mannered and we all hope that she goes far in life, she wants to become a Marine Biologist so that she can be a dolphin trainer, something that she has dreamed of all of her life. I for one think that she has a chance, she just needs to get out of middle school and it will take off from there.
