I happened to visit a hospital the other day. A friend of mine had to go in for a checkup and I offered to give her a ride. As you may imagine, I had to wait awhile for the checkup to be done and I happened into a conversation with one of the nurses. I had noticed that she had on nursing uniform scrubs that looked really nice. She also had on a scrub hat that was very colorful.

She told me about how every doctor and nurse had to purchase their own uniforms. She said that most of them use a site called blueskyscrubs.com that sold them. They had a wide variety of medical scrubs for both men and women. They were a quality product and everyone liked them. She also liked the fact that buying scrubs online was quick and easy. The prices were reasonable and the uniforms were delivered to her home.

Our conversation finally ended and I sat alone. While I did, I pondered the different uniforms and hats everyone was wearing. I saw how wearing uniforms made it easier to identify who was who. So that is not quite half price, but a very good excuse for buying two bags of my wife’s favorite chocolates! I bought one bag of dark chocolate with raspberry filling and one bag of milk chocolate with caramel filling. If she can restrain herself to just one chocolate treat each night, then we might be able to make these last about one month. That’s thirty days and nights of sweet treats.

Every once in a while, a situation comes up that makes us realize how lucky we are to live in modern times. One such situation came up for my friend Dan from the office. His car finally gave out and he needed a replacement fast. His financial situation wasn’t the best and so he needed to find someone that could help. Now that Dan has his brand new used car, his life is back to normal. One thing that I really enjoy is the fact that we have a large family. No matter what time of year it is, there is always something going on. Right now, the big news is that my cousin Judy is getting married. We were all a little surprised because no one saw it coming. She met a guy named Joe and they really hit it off.

When she told me the news, I was really happy for her. I offered to help her in any way I could.
