They said the mall was packed and that the lines were very long to check out. I knew right then that I was wasting my time. I decided to go home and take my chances on the internet. When I arrived home, I went online and started to check out some different sites. I finally found a site I liked and started doing some serious shopping. I’m totally addicted to reality television. My whole family makes fun of me because you’d never catch me watching the news or anything of substance. Its basic premise is that women go to Kleinfeld’s bridal salon in New York City and try on wedding dresses. That’s it! The women inevitably get into fights with their mothers or bridesmaids over their fashion sense and some of the ladies chose the most outrageous, terrible dresses! The consultants try so hard to make the sales, but a lot of these women are just insufferable. I can’t even fathom how much some of these people spend on their wedding dress – I’ve seen women on the show spend up to twelve thousand dollars. FOR A DRESS! Can you even imagine? The fiancés of a lot of these girls have to have patience of steel because a lot of the girls are total princesses. I don’t know if I could make it through one day working at Kleinfeld’s!

We looked all around in order to find the best deals on medical uniforms. There are quite a few people who sell them, but we think we have found the right ones. We saw a site called blueskyscrubs.com that had many types of cheap scrub uniforms for sale. We knew right away that this was the company for us. They had what we needed and it would be easy to do.

Now that our new policy is in place, we feel that we made the right decision. Everyone looks really good when they go to work and I think everyone takes a little more pride in their work. Every year Cheryl and I take a full day to go Christmas shopping together. We plan the trip over the phone, about a week before we meet. It’s a standing ritual to make sure that sometime during this phone call we remind each other to set our home security alarms before we leave our houses, always remembering the year I forgot to do that, and had to leave the mall to go back home and adt security home alarm.

We meet at a designated shop at the mall at 9:30 AM, and begin the shopping day separating from each other for about a half hour so we can buy each other something special that we exchange at lunch time at our favorite restaurant. We usually take along a gift bag and tissue paper so we can make the exchange festive without a lot of fuss. We only see each other rarely, and it’s so nice to have the opportunity to see the smiles on each other’s faces at this Christmas shopping luncheon.

Except for that lunch break, we’re serious shoppers until we’re broke or too exhausted to take another step, whichever comes first. It’s an occasion that has become a tradition for the two of us that we look forward to every Christmas season.

This past Black Friday I found some really wonderful deals at Walmart. The best deal would be the $199 laptop, which retails for about $500! I was there just after midnight on Thursday morning, and was in line to get it and after about 30 minutes of waiting I did! I am currently using the new laptop to write this blog for you, and couldn’t be happier with my deicsion to go out and shop on Black Friday at Walmart.

It was a successful trip, lots of great deals, and lots of new things were bought. I easily saved over $500 on my purchases this day, so I cannot complain about the lines and the waiting, it was well worth it. I got home around 6am, made a cup of coffee, sat ont he couch and watched some Satellite TV and just relaxed.

I am definitely looking foward to going out next yearr on Black Friday and getting some more great deals. This was my first year going and shopping on this crazy day, but in the end it was a successful trip and will be made again in years to come!

Now that Dan has his brand new used car, his life is back to normal. His credit problems did not prevent him from getting the car he wanted and he is glad that he didn’t have to wait a long time to get it. Dan gives all the credit to Drive Time and tells everyone with a similar problem to try them out. I am just glad that he is back to work and things are back to normal!

When she told me the news, I was really happy for her. I offered to help her in any way I could. Since the kids always play on the same fields every week, we plan to expand the clubhouse building where they change their clothes and have meetings. We are going to add Gym Lockers to the building for the kids to use. We think that by having them, we will foster a better feeling of what it’s like to be a real football player. It will also add some security for the kid’s valuable items.

We are hoping that we will be able to raise enough money so that each kid will have his own Locker. We think this is doable and hope to order them soon. The best thing to do is to look ahead to what you will need next year. I know that my outdoor furniture is getting old and outdated. I know that my wife always comes home from her Labor Day weekend shopping spree with an untold amount of items. She loves to shop and this is a great time for it. I guess I’ll have to foot the bill for it all, but at least I’ll save a few bucks while I’m at it!

My son has been bugging us to buy him one of those racer beds that look like a car. Every time we go to the store and see one, he goes bananas! I thought that this may be the right time to finally get him one. I am sure he will love it and it will look great in his room. The problem is that he’s not the only one who wants something.

Our daughter has been angling for a new bed as well. She wants to have a pink bed that will match the color scheme of her room.
