Great news for the “Who Dat” nation. The New Orleans Saints have won their first Super Bowl victory by defeating the Indianapolis Colts 31-17. After getting off to a slow start, the Saints rallied to win the game convincingly. Heroes of the game include their quarterback Drew Brees and their field goal kicker Garrett Hartley who kicked a record setting three 40+ yard field goals.

There is little need to describe the party after the game on Bourbon Street. Folks throughout Louisiana celebrated well into the night. There will be a parade on Tuesday and expect the party to be massive. I say congratulations to the Saints on their victory.

I was watching game one of the World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees. I realized how far each team had come after their long seasons. The game of baseball has fallen behind Football and Basketball, but it is still one of the best games ever invented.

The problem seems to be that there is not enough action to attract kids. The thing is that it’s just a much more slowly drawn out game than the others. As I get older, I really appreciate the long innings where the excitement builds. I don’t know who will win this year, but I wish them both the best of luck!

One of the great things about the company I work for is that we support many community activities. One of my favorites is the little league football team we sponsor. We raise money to provide them with Jersey’s and other equipment that they need to practice and play with. This year, we are going all out to raise money for a project that is a little larger in scope.

Since the kids always play on the same fields every week, we plan to expand the clubhouse building where they change their clothes and have meetings. We are going to add Gym Lockers to the building for the kids to use. We think that by having them, we will foster a better feeling of what it’s like to be a real football player. It will also add some security for the kid’s valuable items.

We are hoping that we will be able to raise enough money so that each kid will have his own Locker. We think this is doable and hope to order them soon. We found a great site called morelockers.com that has Lockers for sale. I can’t wait to see the kids faces when they get their own Lockers filled with all the equipment they need. It will be a wonderful day!

One of the problems with the preseason is that the first-string players often only play for the first quarter. While it’s true they play more and more as the season gets closer, the games often become boring when the second and third string players play.

It sure will be nice when the season finally starts!

A South Korean named Y.E.Yang came from behind with a final round 70 to catch Tiger. Tiger faltered in the final holes to shoot a final round 75. The crowd at Hazeltine was stunned by the come from behind victory by the relatively unknown player. I guess that all good streaks come to a close, but I would have never believed it!

Our company is always sponsoring trips for key personnel to visit with our clients. We wanted to try something new and we found the best way ever to impress our customers. We hosted an event at the Cubs roof top. We had a great time and everyone was happy. I can’t describe all the good things we found there.

First of all, the view of the game was magnificent. It seemed as if we were right on top of home plate. Another good thing was that no matter where you were, they had plasma screens with the game on so there was no way you could miss anything! The food was wonderful. They had every type of food you could want at a ball park. You could even get all you wanted.

One thing that many people mentioned was the fact that they have very nice bathrooms. This is very important when at a game. The convenience of not having to wait in a line to use a dirty bathroom cannot be overstated. The bar was open the whole time and we even had time for some pregame partying. I had a great time at this event and our company was extremely satisfied with the rave reviews by our clients!

Our office usually celebrates the end of the busy season with a blowout party and award session at a local hotel. Each year we honor the best people with various awards. We find that giving out corporate awards help to maintain morale and build confidence in our workforce. This year is no different and we are all looking forward to the event.

Our office also sponsors many little league teams. We supply equipment and uniforms to the kids so that they can have fun playing their games without worrying about how to pay for it. At the end of each season, we supply the Softball Trophies as well as the Baseball Trophies that the kids have won. We make sure that every child receives some kind of award. We find this to be very rewarding for all involved.

We have been dealing with the same trophy supplier for many years. They are called trophiesales.com and they carry all the different items we need. They have always done a great job with our orders and have not let us down yet. I am always glad to be the one who orders the trophies each year because it is both rewarding and easy.

My niece Athena lives in California. Her oldest daughter is named Ethel and she is at that age when she wants to do many things. This year, Athena decided to send her to a summer ski camp in Oregon on MT. Hood. This is apparently a great place for people to learn to race down the mountains and have a great time. Athena will not have to worry to much as she knows Ethel will receive 24 hour supervision.

When it comes to summer camps, this is one of the best. They not only offer skiing, but have many other activities as well. The coaches are trained to offer the best instruction and are able to find the best ways to teach skiing as it was meant to be. I know that Ethel will really enjoy this special treat and will do well.

One thing we have always enjoyed is music. Everyone knows that to get the best music, you have to see the artists perform live. Seeing the show is the key to getting the full effect of the message each musician is trying to convey. Since our area has a very small concert hall, many of the biggest acts do not come to our town. That’s why it may be necessary to do a little traveling to see the shows we like.

One example was our trip to California. Since we knew we would be in the area at a specific date, we were able to order Pacific Amphitheater Tickets online ahead of time. That worked out great and we had a good time. When I had to make a trip to Wisconsin for some office business, I basically did the same thing and was able to secure Alpine Valley Music Theater Tickets. That was a great trip as well.

The next big trip on our list is the state of Washington. While I am there, I want to check out the Washington Huskies Men’s Basketball team and I’ll do that by purchasing Bank of America Pavilion Tickets. After all is said and done, I now know the little tricks that make my life more enjoyable. The ability to have access to the best shows and sports events has enabled me to get the most out of life. I’ll see you at the show!!

One thing I really like about the company I work for is that we support many local projects. We are proud to be the sponsors of a little league baseball team who are the Bobcats. We supplied them with uniforms and equipment so that the kids can have a good time playing the game the love. After talking with the league, we decided to go one step farther.

The league controls multiple fields near the school where all the games are played. They have a clubhouse and snack bar as well. Wanting to add lockers to the clubhouse, our company in conjunction with other companies is going to foot the bill. We held some raffles and other fund raising events to get the funds necessary. Now, all the people involved are ready to have the gym lockers installed. We hope to have it done before the next season starts.

I can’t wait to see how happy the kids will be to have their own locker to hang their equipment in! I know that they will feel like they are professional players when they are getting ready to play. We will soon have the best clubhouse in the county and be the envy of all the other leagues in the state. I am glad to know that I helped to make this dream a reality.

I was talking with them one day and asked about how I could get started myself. They told me that when it comes to paintball, the best place to get my equipment was online at pntball.com. They have everything I would need.

They explained that I would need a face shield, gun, and many accessories. They said that when it comes to discount paintball, this was the best place to go. I took advantage of this information and have played the game several times. It’s a nice fun way to have fun and get some exercise. I really enjoy the woods and the companionship of my fellow players.

I have often wondered what more I could accomplish in my life had I a greater faith in my abilities. Alex scored his 50th goal today against the Tampa Bay Lightning. After the goal, he performed the “hot stick dance” acting as if he were a fifth grader.

I found his actions embarrassing and affronting. First, I thought he looked like an idiot doing it. My next thought was that, why are you celebrating? You are a forward and you are supposed to score goals!! That’s your job. We pay these guys a lot of money to play and I do not like to witness this sort of schoolboy antics!

I certainly hope this doesn’t catch on around the NHL. I ask all the players in the league to please Don’t Start That!!

One of my many nieces was playing in her school’s Winter Band Concert this late afternoon, so I skipped work to go see her play. It is her first year in middle school and her first year in Band. She is enjoying learning the flute and did a marvelous job today. We managed to gather up nine immediate family members to attend, in order to show our support to this lovely young lady that has had a lot on her plate these past few years and is blossoming quite nicely.

She has some serious allergy issues and other medical problems that has made attending school and real challenge. She does manage to pull in all A’s & B’s even though she misses at least one day a week and many times even more, her teachers are asking what she would be able to do if she had less of an attendance issue.

She is pretty, tall, slim, very shy, well mannered and we all hope that she goes far in life, she wants to become a Marine Biologist so that she can be a dolphin trainer, something that she has dreamed of all of her life. I for one think that she has a chance, she just needs to get out of middle school and it will take off from there.
