Preseason is here

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009

Every year we impatiently wait for football season to start. While the regular season has yet to begin, at least the preseason will tide us over until opening day. One of the problems with the preseason is that the first-string players often only play for the first quarter. While it’s true they play more and more as the season gets closer, the games often become boring when the second and third string players play.

It sure will be nice when the season finally starts!

Tiger turns tail!

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

It’s finally happened! For the first time ever, Tiger Woods lost the lead in a major championship after leading in the third round. A South Korean named Y.E.Yang came from behind with a final round 70 to catch Tiger. Tiger faltered in the final holes to shoot a final round 75. The crowd at Hazeltine was stunned by the come from behind victory by the relatively unknown player. I guess that all good streaks come to a close, but I would have never believed it!

The Best Getaway!

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

Our company is always sponsoring trips for key personnel to visit with our clients. We wanted to try something new and we found the best way ever to impress our customers. We hosted an event at the Cubs roof top. We had a great time and everyone was happy. I can’t describe all the good things we found there.

First of all, the view of the game was magnificent. It seemed as if we were right on top of home plate. Another good thing was that no matter where you were, they had plasma screens with the game on so there was no way you could miss anything! The food was wonderful. They had every type of food you could want at a ball park. You could even get all you wanted.

One thing that many people mentioned was the fact that they have very nice bathrooms. This is very important when at a game. The convenience of not having to wait in a line to use a dirty bathroom cannot be overstated. The bar was open the whole time and we even had time for some pregame partying. I had a great time at this event and our company was extremely satisfied with the rave reviews by our clients!

Awards and More

Sunday, June 21st, 2009

Our office usually celebrates the end of the busy season with a blowout party and award session at a local hotel. Each year we honor the best people with various awards. We find that giving out corporate awards help to maintain morale and build confidence in our workforce. This year is no different and we are all looking forward to the event.

Our office also sponsors many little league teams. We supply equipment and uniforms to the kids so that they can have fun playing their games without worrying about how to pay for it. At the end of each season, we supply the Softball Trophies as well as the Baseball Trophies that the kids have won. We make sure that every child receives some kind of award. We find this to be very rewarding for all involved.

We have been dealing with the same trophy supplier for many years. They are called trophiesales.com and they carry all the different items we need. They have always done a great job with our orders and have not let us down yet. I am always glad to be the one who orders the trophies each year because it is both rewarding and easy.
