The Summer Slopes

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

My niece Athena lives in California. Her oldest daughter is named Ethel and she is at that age when she wants to do many things. This year, Athena decided to send her to a summer ski camp in Oregon on MT. Hood. This is apparently a great place for people to learn to race down the mountains and have a great time. Athena will not have to worry to much as she knows Ethel will receive 24 hour supervision.

When it comes to summer camps, this is one of the best. They not only offer skiing, but have many other activities as well. The coaches are trained to offer the best instruction and are able to find the best ways to teach skiing as it was meant to be. I know that Ethel will really enjoy this special treat and will do well.

We Love it!

One thing we have always enjoyed is music. Everyone knows that to get the best music, you have to see the artists perform live. Seeing the show is the key to getting the full effect of the message each musician is trying to convey. Since our area has a very small concert hall, many of the biggest acts do not come to our town. That’s why it may be necessary to do a little traveling to see the shows we like.

One example was our trip to California. Since we knew we would be in the area at a specific date, we were able to order Pacific Amphitheater Tickets online ahead of time. That worked out great and we had a good time. When I had to make a trip to Wisconsin for some office business, I basically did the same thing and was able to secure Alpine Valley Music Theater Tickets. That was a great trip as well.

The next big trip on our list is the state of Washington. While I am there, I want to check out the Washington Huskies Men’s Basketball team and I’ll do that by purchasing Bank of America Pavilion Tickets. After all is said and done, I now know the little tricks that make my life more enjoyable. The ability to have access to the best shows and sports events has enabled me to get the most out of life. I’ll see you at the show!!

The Best Clubhouse

One thing I really like about the company I work for is that we support many local projects. We are proud to be the sponsors of a little league baseball team who are the Bobcats. We supplied them with uniforms and equipment so that the kids can have a good time playing the game the love. After talking with the league, we decided to go one step farther.

The league controls multiple fields near the school where all the games are played. They have a clubhouse and snack bar as well. Wanting to add lockers to the clubhouse, our company in conjunction with other companies is going to foot the bill. We held some raffles and other fund raising events to get the funds necessary. Now, all the people involved are ready to have the gym lockers installed. We hope to have it done before the next season starts.

I can’t wait to see how happy the kids will be to have their own locker to hang their equipment in! I know that they will feel like they are professional players when they are getting ready to play. We will soon have the best clubhouse in the county and be the envy of all the other leagues in the state. I am glad to know that I helped to make this dream a reality.

Keep your Head Down

On the far side of our office building parking lot is a large patch of woods. On the weekends, many people will gather and go to play paintball there. I was talking with them one day and asked about how I could get started myself. They told me that when it comes to paintball, the best place to get my equipment was online at pntball.com. They have everything I would need.

They explained that I would need a face shield, gun, and many accessories. They said that when it comes to discount paintball, this was the best place to go. I took advantage of this information and have played the game several times. It’s a nice fun way to have fun and get some exercise. I really enjoy the woods and the companionship of my fellow players.
