I am a little bit obsessed with American Idol. I have watched every season and I love everything about it. I cannot carry a tune, so I am so impressed by people who do. Last season I was watching the final results show where all of the contestant from the whole season come back and sing. They usually drag the show out to last two hours and then at the very end they reveal who the new American Idol is. Unfortunately, it had been storming and during the last few minutes of the show, my cable went out. I was so frustrated. I could not believe that I watched almost two hours and then I missed what happened at the end. I did not want to find out the next day on the news or from anyone at school. I decided to go online and search for the results. The results had come up within a few minutes after the show ended. I am so glad that I did not have to be out of the loop and I was able to find out who the winner was. I am also glad that I went to satellitestarinternet.com to set up our internet, so I can use it for things like this.

I have seen many things in my life. One thing that has always surprised me is the way that people can be identified by the way they dress. Whenever I go out, I tend to notice what people are wearing and enjoy trying to figure out what they do for a living. It’s a fun game to me but sometimes I get surprised. This happened to me the other day at the store while I was standing in line.

She looked like someone who might work in a hospital to some people, but I thought she was something different. I guess I was way off that day and could not figure out what she did while at work.

After we talked for awhile, everything was revealed. She said she was wearing nurses scrub uniforms that she had bought off the internet. She could not believe that I didn’t know right off that she worked in a hospital. We both laughed at the way things turned out. I guess I am not always right and it certainly is humbling sometimes. I guess it’s just the way things go when you’re having an off day.

Over the last decade, the internet has become a large source of sales for many companies. Many people like to shop from home at their own convenience. It is also good for the companies as profit is easier to generate as the products can be easily inventoried and shipped. Many have felt the need to start a website to help their business grow.

Well, it’s almost time for the kids to get out of school for their summer vacation. They have been looking forward to this for a long time. My son has finished the tenth grade and will be a junior next year. My daughter is especially exited as she will be graduating from high school. We have a big event planned and I am sure she will have a time to remember. It will mark the end of one phase of her life and the beginning of another.

One thing she plans to do this summer is to begin finalizing her plans for college. One college she has been looking at is Walden University. She has some friends who plan to attend that school and she likes the school as she has visited it before. But, before making her final decision, she is making sure she has checked out all the options she has.

One item that is important to us is financial aid. We were lucky to find a site called WaldenU.edu that has a lot of information on the subject. We want her to have a great education but we don’t want to go broke doing it. She has had some good results with applying for scholarships and grants and I am sure that some will come through. I will be pleased when I see her cross the state at her next graduation.

I found a link to watch real time streaming of an Bald Eagle’s nest somewhere up in Iowa. This is not video taped or on YouTube – it’s live. I thought they were doing that in Tennessee, too. There is a large Eagle refuge up in the Kentucky Lakes area on the border between Tennessee, Kentucky and Missouri. I can’t find any links for the Tennessee nest – do you have it?

I watched the Iowa link for about 3 hours while I was doing some paperwork and cleaning up. They are marvelous creatures.
